About Us

Monticello Trailblazers

The Monticello Trailblazers Snowmobile Club was established in 1997 by a group that wanted to get together with other snowmobilers in the area, enjoy each others company, ride together and give something back to the sport. All of our family memberships are also members of MNUSA and the (WCSA) Wright County Snowmobile Association.

Our club is responsible for maintaining part of the 300 miles of Wright County snowmobile trails in and around the Monticello area. These trails are both GIA (Grant In Aid) and local club trails. Some of our members help with grooming the trails in the county with one of the WCSA groomers that is positioned in Monticello. We also maintain the groomer and drag for this area.
We are one of 12 clubs that belong to the Wright County Snowmobile Association, and work with local land owners to allow use of  their land for the Grant In Aid trails. We do trail setup in the fall which includes putting up signs for directions, cutting brush, and making the trails safer for all riders. We also take down trail in the spring, so the signs do not interfere with local farming and other land use. Check out our Safety Training link for the next class we will be having for the Minnesota certified youth snowmobile safety course.

Feel free to contact us about joining our club or for other information. Our meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Please contact us for the location of the meeting, as we rotate to different locations in the area to support our map advertisers. We are a family oriented club interested in having fun together and helping to make snowmobiling better for everyone.

If you are interested in joining our club click HERE for a membership form and send us an e-mail. Think snow.
